- 500 g Chicken
- 1 Cup Curd
- 1 Tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1/2 Tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 Tsp Salt (as needed)
Instructions to make to make Chicken curry with masala twist
- Wash the chicken pieces. Add ingredients to marinate with chicken pieces in a bowl and let it rest for 30 mins in room temperature.

- Soak Cinnamon, cloves for few seconds in hot water. Add them with tomato, few coriander leaves, cumin seeds and cashews. Then blend them together to a fine paste.


- Place a kadai on heat, add oil.

- Once oil is hot, keep the flame in medium. Add green chilli, onion, ginger garlic paste and few curry leaves to it. Sauté them until onion starts to caramelise.



- Then add freshly made tomato masala paste to the onion and cook it for 2 mins with lid on.

- Then add turmeric, chilli, coriander powder and sauté for 1 more min


- Now add our curd packed chicken into the pan for hot bath. Let it cook for 15 to 20 mins with lid on. Adjust consistency and flavour by adding salt and water. Check the chicken and stir the gravy once in 5 mins.

- After chicken cooked or 20 mins, add Garam masala, coriander leaves and let it cook for 2 more mins with lid on. Check chicken and stir gravy often to prevent it from burnt or sticking to pan.

- That’s it ! Chicken Gravy done. Serve it hot with paratha, naan, dosa, idli, You will not count how much you aur having! Enjoy !
